Site for Remembering Jim Long

November 14th, 2009 · 2 Comments · Journalism, Sports Journalism, The Sun

One of our favorite former journalism co-workers, Jim Long, died in September at age 46. Far too young for far too good a guy.

Here is the obit that we did here in September, but most of you have seen it.

The news here is that his widow, Judith Pfeffer, has created a blog dedicated to those who would like to remember Jim and are interested in contributing to the site she has created.

You may find her blog here: http://jimlongremembered.blogspot.com/

Or, just click here if you would like to eliminate a step and go straight to the site.

One of the remarkable aspects about Jimbo was that nearly everyone who spent any time with him has a vivid memory (or 10) of him. The point of his wife’s blog is for the rest of us to share those memories.

“And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is.”

    Ephesians 3:18, NLT
