It was Sunday the 18th and they were presenting a Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols. An enchanting evening followed that kept even our youngest (8) enthralled. There were few empty seats to hear the choir and readers, who were a mix of sexes and ages. We are English speaking South Africans and even the alternate use of English and French did not deter us.
