Did I mention this the other day? We have reached the time of year when we don’t really look at the weather report anymore.

It’s just going to be degrees of “really hot.” Don’t need some national weather service for that. Hey, the high today, 104. Down from 106. That changes how I will approach the day.

But, yes, we do talk about the weather. A little. And here is what you are liable to hear:

1. Hot enough for ya?

2. The necessities of life: Food, water, shelter, air conditioning.

3. Only seven months till December!

4. Tell me again how those robes and head scarves keep you cool.

5. Hey, it’s gonna be 40 degrees tomorrow! (Well, yeah … celsius.)

6. Where else can you get a full day’s worth of UV rays in five minutes?

7. Sand storms obscure the sun, so inhaling a couple pounds of grit … I’m for it!

8. None of us are wearing underwear, are we?

9. We are one mile from the sun.

10. It may be hot, but it’s a wet heat.
