Paul Oberjuerge spent nearly 31 years as a sports editor, sports columnist and metro columnist for Gannett and MediaNews while based in Southern California. Paul was a journalism and history major at Long Beach State. He spent four months as an editor in the Hong Kong bureau of the International Herald Tribune, and in 2009 was a freelancer for the New York Times. He lives in Long Beach.
